First of all I also don't agree with some of the seeding and a couple of the rappers that are included over some of the ones left off. Diddy can be left off of this list in my opinion. He had one good rap album (No Way Out) and thats about it. He has made hits but he didn't even write some of em. Dude is a hell of an entertainer but thats not what this tourney is about. Guy from LP can hit the bricks as well. Where are guys like Andre 3000, Ludacris, Common, Lupe Fiasco, Young Jeezy and The Game. I also agree that Kanye deserves a #1 seed as well and Eminem should be bumped to a #2. Those are just some of my thoughts.
Now on to my predictions:
Hustle 'n Flow Jay vs. T.I. (sorry Dre)
8 Mile Eminem vs. Jadakiss
Boyz n Tha Hood (by far the toughest bracket) Lil' Wayne vs. Kanye West
Training Day Nas vs. Snoop Dogg (go listen to Doggystyle)
My final four is Jay-Z, Eminem, Nas and.....Kanye. It took me a while to pick Kanye over Wayne because they are both so good. they both kill everything that they touch. I basically took Kanye because i love that verse on Jeezy's joint. In my opinion they both belong and I'm sorry I had to eliminate one of em so early.
My final 2 are Jay-Z and Kanye. I almost went with Nas because he still killin it on this latest album and he's a Queens guy. But I weighed in the couple albums that he dropped that I thought were subpar. Kanye moves on to the finals to battle Hova.
My winner is Jay-Z because there's no stoppin this guy. It's basically MJ vs. Kobe. Jay has transcended so much time. He's relevant and never lost it from 1996 and Reasonable Doubt all the way til 2008. His catalog is bigger than Kanye's and every song these two have done together Jay killed it. He wins. Congrats.

Wow. 2 picks for Ye to come out of Boyz N The Hood. I can't say i'm surprised, because he was a very dangerous #2 seed, but I thought Wayne's mainstream right now might have caused people to take him out of there.
WHERE'S LUPE!?!?!?!!!! Yes, I want an explanation of why the bracket that i helped determine does not have the man who has a permanent spot in the iPod top 5.
That's all I have on that one. Lupe clearly wins the NIT of this tournament.
As for those actually in it, my final four would be Jay, Jada, Nas, and....Weezy.
Jay/Jada is tougher for me than most people probably because I really like Jada's stuff and "Why" is still one of my favorite songs put out. But I gotta go with Hov because..well, no one ever bet against MJ, did they?
On the other side, I'm going with Nas. I don't know if it's because Weezy doesn't have the full thing put together yet, or because i listened to Stillmatic (the entire CD) every day for almost 2 months...
...or it's probably because, one last time, I want the Jay Z/Nas battle.
So, in the finals, its Jigga and Nas, toe to toe again. At this point I wish they could both win it, but I like being different, and since numero ocho cinco minus the first ocho took Jay, I'ma go with Nas on this one.

If you peep the preview page on sixteen hitz, you'll see what my personal preferences are. You guys probably loved them (I mean, Shinoda over Nas? Obviously...), but just in case they don't pan out, I'm gonna post my real predictions here:
Jay vs. T.I. Em vs. Jada
Weezy vs. Mr. West Nas vs. Fab.
Jay vs. Em Weezy vs. Nas
Jay vs. Weezy
Best Rapper Alive: Weezy f. Babyyyyyyy

Is ANYONE shocked that the kid who calls himself L'il Meezy claimed Wayne the winner? Certainly not this guy...
And Trill is right - where's Lupe? I guess you can't put him in this cuz he doesn't have the catalogue. I know the Cool is *that joint*, but F+L was good at best. So I see where Lupe the Fiasco needs time to get into the BRA discussion...

I honestly don't think Lil' Wayne is the best rapper alive. I think Eminem is, and I posted that in my personal bracket on the preview page, but in the sake of "okay, maybe I'm not always right, here's what might actually play out..." those are my predictions. I'm getting a lil tired of everyone always being on Jay-Z's nuts all the time anyways, to be quite honest.
Em vs. Weezy in the finals hopefully. That'll be fun.
FUCK FREE WORLD. THREE ONE THREE!
