Well, as my friend Waleed used to say, I rather be a chucker than a runner. So - I've moved Brady AND Manning to #4 and #5 overall.
Kickers will be coming out in due time - patience. It's week 2 of the preseason. WR's should be coming out today and TE's on Wed.

For these rankings - start sliding Rudi Johnson, Willis McGahee, John Stewart, and Edgerin James down and moving Earnest Graham, Jamal Lewis, and Reggie Bush up. A new ranking will be out in a few weeks as injuries and such occur in the preseason but for your fantasy drafts now - make these adjustments. If you have a specific question on an individual player right before you draft - please post and I'll get to it asap.

I currently own LDT (I refuse to call him LT). I am enamored with Rashard Mendenahll. I have the chance to trade Tomlinson and get Mendenhall back. Is this a good move?

First - I can appreciate the use of LDT...there has been and will be only one LT just like there is only one MJ in basketball.
As to your question, do you trade LDT? What value are you getting in return other than Mendenhall? No matter what you think about Mendenhall, his value at best is a number 3 RB - and thats if Pittsburgh let's him split the carries with Fast Willie 50/50. Even that is doubtful. Willie Parker has AVERAGED 1300 yards for the last 3-4 years and though his TD total was only 2 last year, the year before it was 13. He's 28 and still going to get a majority of the carries. Unless your league is a keeper league, you are greatly overvaluing Mendenhall.
As for LDT, he's the only elite RB that is not losing carries to a backup (Addai, Marion possibly, Peterson possibly) who hasn't been injured a majority of his career (Peterson, Westbrook), plagued by a horrid offensive line (L. Johnson, S. Jackson), or plagued by a contract holdout (S. Jackson). As far as I'm concerned, LDT is as close to an untradeable asset as there is this year.
If you love Mendenhall, obtain him in a much smaller trade and keep him on your bench as your 3rd or 4th runningback until you see how he'll be utilized. "Sleepers" or players you like that no one else rates as highly should only be drafted or traded for after your sure things are taken. If you value them ahead of elite players, you will surely be last in any league that you are in.

Overall list looks pretty solid. A few points, though:
I'd slide Steven Jackson down a few pegs, his overall health is a key issue, and his O-line, along with the rest of the offense, is not spectacular. I would definitely have Westbrook and Gore ahead of him. Westbrook is at #3 in my list, he's reliable, and he is very consistently a stud, especially in a PPR league. And if Mike Martz can make Kevin Jones into a solid fantasy starter, he damn well can push Frank Gore into elite status, seeing as Gore already has great talent. He'll throw a lot to him this year too, which gives him even more opportunity to bust off a big one.
Maurice Jones-Drew at #18? Surely someone as reliable as him deserves a little better than that! He's a dual threat stud with great vision and escape ability. Fred Taylor is getting old and slowing down, and MJD will be taking over the reigns.
Laurence Maroney is a little over-valued on this list. The Pats are just too pass heavy to put him ahead of ones you listed lower than him like Ryan Grant (who I think will have a great year if his hammy heals with no problems), Brandon Jacobs, and Thomas Jones, who will be run like crazy, and the addition of Favre helps his chances a hell of a lot.

The new rankings have already been submitted and should be out in a day or two. I'll comment if anyone has a problem with those since there is no sense talking about preseason rankings that were done 3 or 4 weeks ago.
